Dr. Daron Praetzel is a board-certified facial cosmetic and oral & maxillofacial surgeon whose practice centers on aesthetic procedures, complex facial trauma, and reconstructive surgery — with a guiding mission of helping patients restore confidence and identity. A decorated Colonel in the U.S. Air Force with 30 years of combined active-duty and reserve service, he performed life-saving facial trauma surgery during Operation Iraqi Freedom in Balad, Iraq.Beyond the operating room, Dr. Praetzel served as President of the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery and is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker. He is the founder of the Faces Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing life-changing reconstructive surgery to patients in need, and has supported continuing education in his community for over 16 years.
